Linen comes from a plant called Linum usitatissium, otherwise known as flax. The natural fibres are collected from the stem of a flax plant and spun into threads before being processed into linen fabric. Our sheets are made from 100% pure linen, with its flax fibers sourced from France.

TENCEL™ lyocell is a Tencel branded lyocell fibre/fabric produced through environmentally responsible manufacturing processes, starting from sustainably-sourced wood.

TENCEL™ Lyocell fibres are created from wood pulp – typically from eucalyptus trees. These fibres are regenerated fibres, which means they are made by dissolving the cellulose fibers of a plant with chemicals before being spun into yarn, and then finally woven to create an extremely smooth fabric.

Tencel production uses environmentally friendly and non-toxic solvents, making its production substainable and "green".
